So much can change in a year. This time last year, I was still dating my boyfriend, I was planning a wedding for a friend of mine, and working at a hospital in a job I didn’t much care for.
Within this one single year, I’ve been engaged, broken up, landed a stellar job that is EXACTLY what I went to school to do and now have a pretty thick portfolio of weddings & events I’ve planned.
Wow.
So much can change in a year. It makes you wonder where you’ll be this time NEXT year. Also over the course of this year, I’ve met some of the best friends I’ve ever had (luh you guys!) I’ve always had the same group of friends and never really thought that would change.
It’s hard to imagine my life any differently, however, if in August 2010 you told me this is where I would be today, I never would have believed you.
It makes me want to take a deep breath and fasten my seatbelt for what is in store for me next.
