The Miracle of Bobby Pins

I feel like a grown up today and it’s all because of a couple bobby pins.
 

I realized today that I can put my hair up in a cute bun/twist style with 2 bobby pins. This realization was met with organs playing from heaven. OK, not really…but I was pretty pumped. I’ve been growing my hair out from a chin-length bob so that I could do more stuff with it…but so far I had only managed to accomplish boring ponytails and messy ponytail/bun combo things…you know when you don’t pull all the hair through the ponytail holder. Yeah, not so exciting.

I know people that can do their hair with just bobby pins or a pencil but I have never been one of them. Well, I finally am one of them!!

 

This reminded me of the time that I first discovered a straightening iron. It is God’s gift to girls with fine, frizzy, not quite curly, kind of wavy hair…yeah, that’s what I’ve got going on. I felt so mature and like I had finally come into my own because I could finally style my hair. Well, I’ve got that feeling again. Now that I know my hair can be held with just bobby pins the options for hairstyles are endless!

 I think well done hair is the necessary polish for any outfit. It always makes you look so more put together and I always feel so much better with a cute ‘do.
